Rest in Peace Clarence Clemons

Clarence Clemons, saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, passed away last night at the age of 69. He had suffered a stroke last week, and complications are said to be the cause.
There's a scene in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou where Steve (played by Bill Murray) is watching old footage of his departed friend Esteban, and he happens across this interview featuring the two of them. The reporter says, "Eleanor [Steve's wife] is widely considered to be the brains behind Team Zissou. What does that make you, Steve?" Without hesitation, Esteban says, "He's the Zissou". It's not a perfect comparison, but that was my first thought this morning when I heard the news. Clarence Clemons was the E Street Band. Rest In Peace Big Man.
